Refund and Cancellation Policy

The short version
- Terrain is free until paid plans begin. Nothing is charged before then.
- Cancel a free trial before it ends and you are never charged.
- Your first payment, and each yearly renewal, is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days.
- A charge made by mistake is always refunded in full.
- Cancel any time under Account › Manage billing: your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
1. Early access
Until paid plans begin, every registered pastor has the full version of Terrain at no charge, and there is nothing to refund. We will tell registered pastors at least 30 days before paid plans begin.
2. Free trials
A free trial lasts 14 days and needs a card. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are never charged. If you do not cancel, the plan you chose starts and your card is charged when the trial ends.
3. When a payment is refunded

After 14 days a payment is not refunded, and we do not give credits for part of a month or a year, or for time you did not use Terrain, except where the law requires it. When a payment is refunded, the plan it paid for ends and the free version remains.
4. Cancelling
Cancel any time in Terrain under Account › Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan continues until the end of the month or year you have paid for; after that the free version remains, and your church’s information on your device stays where it is.
5. How to ask for a refund
Write to support@terrain.church from the email address on your account, with the date and the amount of the payment. We answer within two business days. A refund goes back to the card that paid, through Stripe; banks usually show it within 5 to 10 business days.
6. Conference and organization plans
A plan bought by a conference or other organization follows its own agreement or invoice.
7. Your rights under the law
Where the law gives you more than this policy, the law applies. This policy is part of Terrain’s Terms of Service.
